Statement of Faith

What in the world is webchurch?

The Webchurch is an official congregation that connects through the web. Members of the Webchurch are assigned a webpastor and each webpastor cares for a fellowship of between 1-150 members. The church members have access to their pastor via email, telephone and our online chatroom. Their pastor will be in personal contact with them each week.

A section on our website is devoted to the Webchurch and only Webchurch members will be able to access it. On the Webchurch site, there will be new teachings and relational presentations every week via video and audio recordings. In addition, the site will feature rich downloadable MP3 recorded messages and text teachings. Patricia King and other team members (including youth pastors and children’s pastors), and friends of the ministry will contribute to make the Webchurch a rich spiritual well for its members.

The site also hosts a 24/7 chatroom for Webchurch members only. Patricia King, along with other webpastors, youth and children’s pastors, team leaders, and others will meet the congregation on line. The church members can meet each other on this exclusive site.

The Webchurch will live stream some of XP Ministries sponsored conferences and monthly meetings for church members. These will also be archived for on-demand use.

The Webchurch is committed to training, covering, and mobilizing church members. The mechanics of this process will be made available to those committed to the Webchurch.

Why plant the webchurch?

  1. Many believers are not in fellowship because they have not been able to find the right congregation yet. Webchurch offers them a place to connect to while they find the right church.
  2. Many believers live in remote areas or in communities where there is a lack of churches that believe in the prophetic and the supernatural.
  3. Some believers, due to work schedules, cannot attend regular traditional services on Sunday. The Webchurch is “on demand” so it suits everyone’s schedule in every time zone of the world.
  4. Some believers are in nations where it is not legal to congregate. Webchurch helps these ones belong to a world-wide community of believers, receive prayer and pastoral support, and have access to fresh teaching of the Word and prophetic ministry.
  5. Oftentimes when an unsaved person comes to Christ they are not ready to go into a traditional church. Webchurch is a great transitional opportunity for them.
  6. Webchurch offers quality personal and relational pastoral care via Internet and telephone as well as solid teaching on Kingdom values, Bible foundations, the Holy Spirit, the Glory and the Supernatural.
  7. Webchurch offers connection with a family of believers all across the world via Internet.
  8. Webchurch offers strong prayer coverage for each member and their family.
  9. Webchurch offers some live conferences and seminars via webcasting.

What does the webchurch look like?

  1. Members of Webchurch are from all over the world.
  2. Individuals choose to become a part of the Webchurch family.
  3. Patricia King is the Apostolic Leader of Webchurch.
  4. One Webchurch administrator will oversee and manage the administration structures.
  5. 1 full-time Webpastor is assigned to every 1- 150 people.
  6. A team of intercessors are on staff to pray for Webchurch and its members.
  7. Webchurch is part of our XP Ministries House Fellowships movement. XP Ministries House Fellowships are churches in home settings.
  8. Webchurch members will apply to be members.
  9. A special code will be given to our Webchurch members to access the XPwebchurch site with its resource and chat-room. Free downloadable audio files of preached messages as well as text messages are made available on the site to our Webchurch members.
  10. Webpastors will respond to personal emails, questions, prayer requests, etc. They will have a phone line that their congregation can call at any time. They will also give a personal phone call to each of their congregation once a month.
  11. Leadership and Ministry Training will be offered. Congregational members can be trained as intercessors, evangelists, home group leaders, through our CD teachings and live webcast Webchurch seminars (also available on demand – for church members only).
  12. The Webchurch will be funded through a monthly $35 administration fee of its members.
The $35 administration fee will go towards covering the following costs:
    1.     Pastor’s salaries.
    2.     Administration team salaries.
    3.     Media costs – filming, editing, uploading, etc.
    4.     IT support.
    5.     Website and email services.
    6.     Pastor’s cell phone expenses.
    7.     Computer costs.
    8.     Monthly mail outs.
  13. Our heart is to cultivate the nature and ministry of Christ in each church member so that they will be equipped for every good work.
  14. The Webchurch members will have a strong covering of love, faith, prayer, and dedication through the Webchurch Leadership Team.
  15. For emergency prayer requests, Webchurch can immediately mobilize an entire army through the full church family world-wide via email.
  16. The Webchurch will engage in the mission outreach of the larger ministry of XP Ministries/Christian Services Association (care of orphans, children at risk, preaching the gospel, street outreach, etc). Church members will be given opportunity to go on mission’s trips.
